As someone, (W.C. actually) once said in another context, " it makes you feel proud to be an Englishman', don't you think?

It’ll surprise you to learn I’ve never voted in my life.
I do however subscribe to the view of those who no longer wanted unelected EU politicians making decisions about these isles that they ought not to be, nor have such an entitlement.

I’m sorry, chill but someone who has never voted doesn’t really earn the right to comment on anything political in my book.

No need to apologise. I gave up the right to vote whilst serving in HM Forces, ironically defending the right to exercise democracy and indeed the rights of voters.
But you’re welcome!

50% of folk willing to reject democracy for getting their own way split between remainer parties ? That'll gain a lot of votes. Besides we all know polls don't necessarily come up with accurate results.
Continual referenda until the authority approved result turns up is anti-democratic. Once a demand has been made the democratic action is to deliver it not hope for flip flops by trying to worry the population, or offer concession types bribes as the EU do.
2016 is not far enough in the past to have judged the result of the decision. A decusion that has yet to be enacted. The idea isn't and can't be to delay long enough that one then tries to claim the result is no longer relevant. That would be ignoring the voice of the people. (Focussing on how to ignore it during a 2 year delay, doesn't count.)
Why is the blatant lie that the bus had lies written on it being brought up again ? Hasn't it been sufficient embarrassment to remainers yet that it needs to be said again ?
It is irrelevant whether project fear has swayed suffciient folk from wanting to do the right thing or not; until one has enacted the decision made it is simply not democratic to ask again; so why keep trying to find excuses for asking why not ? It's simply trying the thwart the decision made, and is shameful.

I think it is a fact, in the grand scheme of things, that there are very few people now who are swayed by anything the opposition have to say to change their minds. There is so much animosity on both sides that people have become entrenched.
Remainextremists simply can’t see sovereignty as anything special so want to stay. Remainextremists simply can’t see the advantages of leaving so want to stay. Remainextremists simply don’t want change so want to stay . Whilst bizzarly advocating staying in an organisation that is mandated to change. An organisation that will have an army, foreign policy and ever increasing merger/closer ties of sovereign autonomy taken in Brussels by unelected penpushers.
And what is it they say they don’t want to lose? Two weeks in Majorca. Free mobile roaming.
What is it they think will happen? Economic meltdown down. That could well happen but only if the remainextremists are left in charge and don’t plan properly.
Brexiteers want sovereignty taken back in full to the UK parliament. That ensures we get our cake and eat it. Because we bake the cake, we add the ingredients, we mix it, we put it in the cake tins. We switch the oven on and after the requisite time we take the cakes out and eat them.
I appreciate that is in nice simple terms the remainextremists will understand. Perhaps too simple so it will probably go right over their heads but any talk of leave goes over remainextremists heads.
Some people think that just because JRM has a posh voice and a nanny for his bizzarly named children he doesn’t have anything important or worthwhile to say. Well the same could be said for the other end of the spectrum of class predudices.

Where has the word ‘remainextremist’ come from anyway? If you’re trying to get people to see your side of things, Cassandra, then writing things like:
‘I appreciate that is in nice simple terms the remainextremists will understand. Perhaps too simple so it will probably go right over their heads but any talk of leave goes over remainextremists heads.’
Is hardly going to further your cause.
