I know it was yesterday, but I was busy then, but having worked in cotton mills for a number of years, you become something of a lip reader. I thought that Corbyn clearly said "Stubborn woman".

Although not hard of hearing (Mrs Clarion will definitely dispute that!) I was able to lip read because of working in one of the noisiest environments ever - a weaving shed. I still think he said "stubborn woman", but this thread has clearly spawned vitriol and hatred for Corbyn from the all-knowing Oracles on AB. Everyone on here has all the answers.
BTW, what would happen if there was Global Cooling? How could we stop that? Just thought I'd ask. Yer know?

I still think he said "Stubborn woman". Whether anyone thinks I'm right or wrong. I've worked in an environment where lip reading was a regular thing. Was Corbyn lying? Who cares? Don't all politicians do that at some point? Theresa May said the Brexit vote would definitely take place on Dec 11th, and then it didn't. But hey ho, who cares?
