Love him or loath him, there are some undeniable truths in there.

No harm done muntin. :-)
MUNTIN, that would be Boyle's Law, not to be confused with Cole's Law.
There’s many a wise word spoken in jest : lots to chuckle at in that but anyone who wonders why the Torues seem fatally split on the EU need only read para 1 of “The Brexit Endgame” : sums it up in all seriousness.
Ah yes, Cole's Law. The law that says that some British people who have lived in the States or Canada will upon their return forever tediously refer to any kind of salad as 'Coleslaw'.
A variant of this states that people who enjoyed living in South Africa will forever refer to a barbecue as a 'brei', pronounced 'bry'.
Frankie Boyle......Ben Elton with the "charm" removed.
How many letters, and do you have any placed, Togo?
Lol @Tills.....T??t is all I have for now. :))
Could somebody please tell me who Frankie Boyle is as I have genuinely never heard of him. Please don't simply give me a link because I could do that myself but posters on this thread obviously know who he is and I'd like their explanations.
//And for those revelling in the all too usual ad hominem attacks, was not Boyle the producer of the 2012 London Olympic spectacular? //

No, but he did present the Eurovision Song Contest once.

That was, of course, pre-transition.
I have to admit I 've no great knowledge of Elton but could he really be as unprepossing as Elton?
judge, Frankie Boyle is Scottish stand up "comic" - known for insulting and swearing, he occasionally can be mildly amusing, not sure how he managed to concentrate long enough to write the Guardian article, if he indeed did write it. He occasionally gets on shows like "Live at the Apollo" and room 101. It's not surprising you haven't heard of him as he is not often on TV. The AB/VB like him because he basically insults British icons.
Thanks, 3Ts.
“Insults British icons”

Like the BBC lol
Or is that “different”?

Personally I’m not a fan but a lot of the stuff at the link is quite amusing. It probably suffers here from people knowing who wrote it.
