No.
That suggestion says much about the integrity - or lack of it - of this country’s representatives.
Why? We cant suspend Parliament because it is not working how we want it to be.

Let the traitors be seen and justify themselves at the next election.
What do you want to happen to these 'traitors', exactly, ymb?
great, we could go back to personal rule as under Charles I. Of course, our ancestors fought a civil war to bring in democracy, and we managed to cling to it through two world wars, but if it's become inconvenient, it should be put aside.
I thought Brexit was supposed to be about the sovereignty of the UK parliament?

What happens at elections then Krom? Guessing you didnt read my post clearly in your rush to goad me.
You'd just like to see them voted out?

Fair enough, but that seems quite mild considering you've openly called Theresa May (and presumably anyone who has assisted her) treasonous, which is a crime. In fact it looks a bit like your repeated use of the words 'treachery' and 'treason' to describe politicians is actually just hot air.

Mssrs (poison dwarf) Bercow & (Mr Punch look alike) Grieve, are not only trying to work on a particular kind of Brexit, but to stop it all together by subterfuge. Whether you agree with Brexit or not, if they were to succeed in this by trickery - which has been already started by Bercow - they would unleash civil unrest not seen in England since the civil war (imo).
A civil war was fought to get rid of a royal family lording it over the rest of us and doing as they liked. Then some bunch of fools invited them back when they found that they couldn't run parliament properly.
Brexit is about sovereignty of the UK government/parliament. But there is a special case when the government/parliament fails to act according to the expressed democratic wishes of the people. In that case it has abused what sovereignty it has, and folk will call for ways to ensure democracy wins through.

Somewhat ironic when a parliament, overall, so wants to be told what to enforce upon their nation, rather than do their job, that they try as hard as possible to avoid the necessary sovereignty being returned to them.

Royal takeover is a very risky option though since it is effectively a step backwards. Parliament needs to start taking it's duty seriously rather than look for the easy path.

I read in the German press today that there have been some leaked correspondences between Philip Hammond and several big business interests saying that they should not fear a no-deal Brexit because if it comes to that as a possibility, we will ensure that there is no Brexit at all!
Sums up Philip Hammond ?
"Sums up Philip Hammond ?"

Indeed it does. But in this instance he is absolutely right. Leaving without a "deal" will not be countenanced by MPs under any circumstances. I know it is the default position but the default will not prevail. "Leaving" under the EU's one and only so-called deal on offer was soundly and quite rightly rejected. The EU will not renegotiate it and in any case it has so many shortcomings that a little teak here and there will make no difference.

So what does that leave?
It leaves masses of lost seats in the next election if what you say is true. But since the legal position is to go no-deal, all May has to do is hang on rejecting all the idiotic other demands.
Krom, nice try on the goading. Personally(as you well know) I'd like to see Treason and some of the others trotted off to the Tower (along with Bliar). But being relistic it aint gong to happen so seeing them on their arris will do for now.
Does the queen still have that power,I thought that parliament had removed all such powers a few years ago.
If the Express article is true, maybe we'd best hope she does; and sup with the devil when needs must. (As time goes on many line up as candidates for the Tower.)
The Queen is unelected.... so no
