These unelected wonders are the ones insisting that in 2020 Britain - if it were to remain - would have to adopt both the Euro and Schengen.
Hell is what Tusk, Merkel et al have created with their open border policy right on the edge of Middle Eastern conflicts and infighting.
He can’t stand that we’re getting out as the EU reaps the whirlwind.
Perhaps Tusk does indeed have a "special" adviser and a hotline to hell. Didn't his grandfather sign up for the Waffen SS, even though the Nazis had invaded and inflicted terrible atrocities on the people of Poland? He himself being Polish and the first manifestation of a traitorous inclination in the Tusk family. Looks remarkably like him too. Notice that he had his *** on stage with him afterwards who thought it very amusing. We know who is being beckoned by satan though don't we.
I agree with him
The guy's just confirming his true colours.
No wonder folk find that they can't negotiate with the EU properly.
Why does that surprise me?
What is it with Donalds and overbearing, pig-headed intransigence?
Good to see somebody standing up for the majority of UK citizens, and shame on our own politicians for not saying it first.

with this sort of language I am amazed that any Brit would want to remain in such a nasty club.
Well said, Mr Tusk.

well he's pleased the VB anyway!
lol, hell hold no terrors for anyone who's joined Theresa May's Conservative party.
The sound of knees knocking. :o)
oh dear, Brexiters complaining about lack of civilised discussion...
He's hearing them loud and clear.
It looks very much like he is preparing for the next set of European elections to pre-empt Eurosceptic parties campaigning on "look what they did to Britain."

Which is deeply depressing, because it suggests that the EU leadership has given up on being diplomatic with us and that a deal is at this point is absolutely hopeless. So we're heading almost certainly for no-deal.

I notice people are omitting the "without a plan" bit. Which, pragmatism and helpfulness aside, actually strikes me as a fair comment. The people who campaigned for this without any sort of plan for how to achieve it are principally responsible for this mess and are going to damage an awful lot of people.
The plan was to negotiate a reasonable agreement, but it needed the other side of the table to have the same goal. No one can plan out everything in advance the first time someone tries something; they get the general goal and route, and then sort whatever arises as they go. It's disingenuous to claim not doing more was some sort of failure. He's just being a rear-end.
//The plan was to negotiate a reasonable agreement//

That's not a plan, that's a soundbite. You can't know whether or not a deal is reasonable unless you know what you want.
//I notice people are omitting the "without a plan" bit//

The referendum asked "In or Out?", as I recall. I was invited to enter the polling booth and put a cross against one of those options, not supply a "plan for leaving". Wasn't that the job of the Executive?
There was rather a lot more dispute over what a "reasonable agreement" was than you are giving credit for.

I wish Tusk hadn't opened his fat mouth like this but it's dishonesty in the extreme to pretend that everything that happened since 2016 is the EU's fault. The UK didn't agree what it wanted, rushed in before it had come to that agreement, and put the wrong people in charge of it anyway.
