Why not indeed? At least you could vote for him if he stood as an MP. You could also try to persuade whatever party he stood for to choose him as PM. You couldn’t do that with either Juncker or Tusk.

We haven’t actually had any “chaos” as such (not any that affects Joe Public, anyway). All we’ve had is a bunch of politicians squabbling because about 80% of them don’t want the UK to leave the EU and so are taking every opportunity to thwart it.
For MPs to suggest they will vote for such an appalling deal on the condition that Mrs May resigns is hypocrisy of the highest order, especially when so many of them voted against it twice. The two things are not related and the deal remains bad, very bad, whether Mrs May is in No 10 or not.
