Got to respect culture and religion and all that. However, for those who do have a free choice it is without doubt a political uniform. It's far more in evidence now than it's ever been.

Some Muslim babies do wear the hijab. Never seen one in a niqab. If you've never seen a woman wearing a burkha ,come to Burnley, Rochdale, Haslingden and you'll see lots.
