Well they have little to lose and 48% as of a few years ago DIDN'T want to leave the EU, so it's a natural home for them since Labour seem to be doing a cracking job of being the Tories helpmates. Might be a savvier move than people give them credit for.
They are however an uncharismatic party with no figurehead anyone would really want to get behind and a history of sideswitching and getting into bed with the Tories so how much of the electorate who is pro Europe fancies voting for them remains to be seen.

I don't imagine a fraction of either will bother to vote, but it's not a stupid a manifesto as people are suggesting because they are the only major party with a Remain stance. the other problem being that there is a large contingent of UK voters who like a 'Ring Master' character, so the likes of Farage appeals to them almost regardless of his proposals. We have the same schtick here with Trump.
