There is a common theme. There are parts of each religion that has the same information but they are basically totally different and should not try to be all things to all men.
If you believe the scriptures in your particular holy book then that is what you stick to. To bend it to your whim or the whims of modern sensibilities is not reflective of your chosen religion.
But as it said I don’t care about religion so they can do pretty much as they chose.... baring violence or incitement to violence of course.

THECORBYLOON, //NAOMI, you said ANY other section of the community would criticize the segregation. I am not saying I agree with it, merely pointing out it happens //
No, I didn’t say that. I said //[segregation] in any other section of the community it would be [criticised] // …. and immediately we're presented with the Jews. Funny that.

//And if it serves to bring just a shred of harmony between communities, is that not a good thing?//
At what price is the “harmony” being sought, though, Ken (if indeed it is at all)? The Christian symbols had to be covered up in a Church of England church. Segregation by gender had to take place in the church.
//I don't see an issue with it, am I missing something?//
I believe you are, RR. Imagine if Christians had been invited to a mosque for a similar coming together. Would their images of whatever they have there be hidden? Would the men and women be allowed to mix? (Answers on a postcard, in the bit where the stamp usually fits).
Muslims don’t do harmony. You are either of the faith or you are a Kafir. There’s nothing in between. Quite why this vicar feels the need to invite Muslims into her parishioners’ church is anybody’s guess. It’s not the Church of England that needs to be “reaching out” to other faiths in England (and absolutely pointlessly in the case of this particular faith, anyway).
