Holding a ceremony, or whatever, of one faith in the religious building of another is weird enough; but covering up the religious artifacts of the host religion is over the top. It shows no respect nor tolerance.
I suspect their efforts would be better served working in the community to create harmony, rather than cover their religion up as if it were subordinate to the religion of those who were invited in to celebrate their own event.

There is segregation of many sorts within all cultures and religions. I have been to events with christian white british people where the men and women have seperate 'activities' for the day. I have also been to muslim events where men and women are not segregated. Any step towards more cohesive communities should be welcomed, or else it will just perpetuate the problems.

/// It appears the separation of the men and women is more of an issue for ANOTHEOLDGIT than the covering of Christian symbols and a picture of Christ. ///
It would have been useless addressing that point since most on here admit to being atheist, but I would have though that addressing the separation of Muslim men from their women would have been alien to most who seek equality between the sexes, but then thinking about it I suppose I made the mistake for using the word Muslim?
