anne, Labour can ill afford to have a party member who knows anything about winning elections. There's probably something against it in the party constitution.

she quit politics 10 years ago, Jackdaw, so no telling who or what she belonged to. She's probably been campaigning for conversion therapy for gays, one of the bees in her bonnet.

Wikipedia says she’s a member of the Conservative Christian Fellowship an organisation working WITHIN the Tory party. She retired from politics in 2010.
So I don’t know what that makes her. Of course the Tories aren’t responsible for what Labour does but they HAVE suspended Heseltine or at least removed the whip from him in the Lords: like Campbell, his crime appearing to have been honest.
