So once again it's Britain's fault is it? Surely her family should be held responsible for what their child turned out to be.

Me too.
Was she the one who's father took her to Islamist demos?
I know he couldn't understand where she got 'it' from either.
11.26 Sorry I miss read it , thought he meant, Ssip.
I was about to type much the same as AH. Except I'd add that it must be obvious to them how foolish their claim makes them appear. Do they not understand the job of parenting ? And if they found they couldn't guide her for she was out of control then don't they realise trying to make the nation responsible for her actions is a non-starter ?
That was one of Begums buddies Spicey. Amira Abase of an Ethiopian family.
Her dad put on the innocence at a Public enquiry and that perverted ,disgraced, weasel, Labour MP Keith Vaz got Bernard Hogan-Howe to make a public apology to him. Few days later this press report was disclosed.

The only blame this country should be accountable for is allowing them here in the first place and continue to let them live here.
typical from the followers of islam, always victims, always marginalized, never take responsibility, that islam is the problem, and not the cure, reminds me of the jim jones guyana tragedy, the followers were just as brainwashed, and did not end well for them nor for the followers of isis..well some, as they are back here, with the same mindset, they had in raqqa.

You can almost hear the local briefs till ringing.

Usual rot, parents should be responsible for what their children not. Computers have an off switch if you are not tech savvy.

Agree with retrocop, it is Britain's fault, for letting her family come here in the first place.
Thanks Baldric @1308
I agree RockRose the rights of those who are pretty bleeeuch such as Shameem should be protected

As is coming out of the Lundy woodwork - sorry the London inquests, the families did tell the authorities who 'did nothing' because there were tracking them already
and wanted to see what they would do....

Shameem had not passport for example and so travelled on her sisters....and the family's lawyers are saying that Shameem is vulnerable which we all agree and is being traffisked by the people in the charge of the refugee camp

and the family have a point

Shameem herself does herslf no favours or in old speak
behaves like a BF the whole time....

It is not only nice people who need consular protection- altho anyone who had been in trouble will know it is pretty damn worthless....

and is it becaue she isnt white - - no
the letts family were contacted by their bad boy Johnnie who said I wanna come home now it isnt like they said .....
so they sent the air fare and.....
were indicted for financing terrorism

https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/family-of-jihadist-suspect-jack-letts-sent-money-for-his-grand-adventure-xqqxdgsl5

the charge without the facts has already been to the Supreme Court. Thier Lordships ruled that it was a true bill and the case should be tried ( and then intoned the words - take them down ) on the facts, which is being heard now .....

Oh and whilst I am at it
the yanks say that the lundy bridge victims were SWATTed
armed police go in and shoot everyone
and keep the place isolated for two hours whilst anyone who is injured bleeds to death

there is even a word for it - - swatting
you ring up and say someone is holding a hostage when they arent -
fact you just dont like them - and the police go in and shoot them for you

// Agree with retrocop, it is Britain's fault, for letting her family come here in the first place.//

shameem was born here for chrissakes
unless you are saying Mystic Meg was on handto predict
"The Begum fambly will bring trouble to the Kingdom in around 15 years, watch out!"
// You can almost hear the local briefs till ringing. //

specialist briefs tills ringing

-immigration - terrorism - poss money laundering - child protection - nationality - human rights ( ofc ourse )
are not run of the mill high st solicitor stuff

I know you don't type in very good English (what the hell was your 15:02 rambling all about?)

So I forgive you for not understanding my post, so I will explain, I was talking about Shamima Begum's family.

If they had not been allowed into this country, their offspring would not have been born in this country.

If it isn't Britain's fault then it must be...……...Trump's. After all they are the only two options for the cause of any "problem". According to the flakes.

Don’t be silly, Togo. You left out the most popular scapegoat of all – Brexit !!!

it stinks of... we want compensation £ for being bad parents...err no
good islamic parents...
The point seems to be that whilst Shamina was interviewed by the anti terrorist squad, along with her friends nobody in that group bothered to tell her parents that she was under investigation....and she was, at the tim, a child. Whilst this situation is not Britains fault per se there has to be some accountability held by the groups involved in her investigation....How would you feel if a child of yours was taken in for questioning and being suspected of being led astray by an outlawed group of thugs and you weren't told?? I assume it would be fine for a large proportion of you, from your answers here.
i care not a jot for her or her family, in fact i wish all islamists would vacate the uk and europe as a whole, to a more fitting environment
suitable to there ideals, 7th century would be impossible, but there are many islamic countries, after all to them islam first, so having a uk passport is a means to an end, no love lost there...
