/// How will we ‘find’ that, AOG? Every time you’re pressed you don’t admit to having gone anywhere in your national service. I can’t recall you saying where you go on holiday. ///
I have never said that I did National Service, only that I served in the RAF.
I think I once said that I had holidayed in Cuba, but I have been to many countries.
Unlike some, I do not give out too much personal information on social media, because as is often shown on here it has an unfortunate habit of biting one in the back.
Carry on making things up about me though, if that is what gets your rocks off.

/// Don’t try to teach me what racism is, AOG. You’re THE very last person to be pontificating on what it is. ///
Excuse me but wasn't it you who started to lecture me on the difference between racism and Nationalism?
Perhaps it is you who should try and understand the definitions of both, but having said that I won't hold my breath.

Putting the exact point back to someone as a method of debate is childish, AOG. There are literally hundreds of threads where you’ve proved you’ve no idea what racism is. This is just another. I would never lecture anyone but your clearly confused as to what nationalism is. Your OP proves that. Racism has to target a race not the whole of the rest of the world. Nationalism is:
‘identification with one's own nation and support for its interests, especially to the exclusion or detriment of the interests of other nations’ which is EXACTLY what Morrisey is imbuing.

aog - "Yes we all belong to the human race, but surely a well educated professional is superior to a Bush Man in the Outback? "
I have noticed this type of ambiguous, charged/loaded language causing misunderstandings on this forum over many years, in this case the word 'superior'.
Until 'superior' is further explained in this case, I would say No to aog's question, because 'superior' to me means higher status/rank/quality/power/position, placing one person ABOVE another, all value judgements, and the well educated, professional man could be an evil psycho and the Bush man a buddha like saint.
Sad, but sometimes we are separated by a common, mutually misinterpreted Language.

I think its a case of human nature to gravitate towards people of the same background/group,we may not like it but I dont think forcing people to mix is going to work.
As an example,I read that during the filming of Return of the Jedi, the actors would sit with their respective character types. For example, the actors playing storm troopers would all sit together as would the ewoks and also the rebels.Yes I know its a bit of a stretch but at a basic level its a good example.
