ummm - // Oh c'mon. There are 3 seats, not much leg room and she had a friend with her. People would have had to really go out of their way to have a good gawp. //

I think it's less about that than precedent.

If the airline I last travelled on had a dress code like this - they could have made the passenger next to me cover up as well, and avoid my contact with his acres of puffy white flesh on display with his wife-beater vest.

Of course, that wouldn't have stopped his rampant B.O., but you can't have everything can you!
Maybe you should have complained and got him chucked off.
Doubt anyone would have batted an eyelid in the 70's.
I doubt the majority would now tbh. It's only that it's made the news bizarrely...
pixie my last comment on this thread (maybe). Is that your normal plane travelling attire then? lol x
Lol. Personally I wouldn't wear it in a million years- anywhere. But each to their own :-)
I prefer the string vest, shorts, long socks and sandals myself :-)
Andy if you read terms and conditions of your chosen airline, there will be something in the contract you have signed up to when you booked your flight.
Pixel in a string vest.....
What a picture - unpixellated of course.
lol pixie bet you the airlines favourite passenger with string vest on. x
Naturally I tape or felt-tip over any relevant bits... All adds to the style... xx
pixie hope you just use these rather than felt tip. lol x

I would rather sit next to her than you FBF, I mean, honestly, a striped T-shirt??
I’d rather that than the full batman outfit.

I was travelling to Montreal to the Jazz Festival, where I am now actually, so my flight was all sorted for me, I just had to turn up.
Fatalbertfixer, //Some people have no class :-/ //

Indeed.
I find it funny that someone chooses to wear a see-through bra or top, but covers her nipples with those sticking plasters. Just don’t wear a see-through top if you don’t want your nipples on show.

If the banning of the woman was merely due to her clothes then it’s a bit heavy-handed. If it was because she was abusive then it was justified. IMO.
OK Andy Pilot has final decision who he will fly. if he says no you will not board.
You playing at festival or a spectator?
TonyV - You playing at festival or a spectator?

Neither, I am a music journalist, as naomi will tell you, the Festival are keen to fly me to the Festival and put me up in a nice hotel, so I can 'scratch a few pennies' as she so delightfully describes it, interviewing and writing about the artists appearing for six international magazines and four international websites
