How can that be when she herself is a senior police officer and also a woman?

Not to mention that the head of Scotland Yard Cressida Dick is also female.

/// are you saying that because the officer is Asian and female, it blocks her from protection of the rules that apply to other officers? ///

/// Similarly, I fail to see the relevence of Ms. Dick's gender to the situation. ///

Let me explain, had she decided to sue solely on the grounds of racial discrimination that perhaps would have been fair enough, but she didn't because she also included gender discrimination, I was simply arguing the point that if that had been true then she as well as Cressida Dick would not have rose to the ranks that they as females had attained.
Are you trying to argue that because a woman is in a top job, it's not possible for any other woman in the Met to say she has suffered sexual discrimination?
Perhaps her misdemeanours were more serious than those of her colleagues - and perhaps she isn’t as promotion-worthy as she thinks she is.
another non sequitur screams its way down the thread

//but she didn't because she also included gender discrimination, I was simply arguing the point that if that had been true then she as well as Cressida Dick would not have rose//

so if A was promoted once, then B could not be discriminated against on those grounds no matter what B's abilities were ?

how can anyone read such a script and think - how true! how true!
Takes a ‘special’ kind of person, pp.

The notion that gender discrimination does not exist because some women rise to senior positions is frankly, a nonsensical observation.

Clearly some women do rise to senior positions, but clearly others in their profession do not - because of gender discrimination.
If one card doesn't work try another, she can't play the femininsm one, can she?
Why is anyone surprised...
