I'm wondering how this will work,will everyone over 75 have to have their incomes scrutinised?
I apologise for not adding a link but saw this on the ribbon of news that runs along the bottom of news on tv.

Bobbs, all you do is go to NJ's answer and click on Best Answer. If ever you change your mind you just go to the new person you want to have it and click Best Answer again.

To be exact, click on Mark as Best Answer at beginning of post.
Means testing would make much more sense than just age. Although, I would prefer it was a choice to receive it and pay for it. That would prove whether it was worth it or not.

The first thing that should be done is restrict any free licence to a property where ALL the adults are over 75 - it makes no sense to give a freebie to anyone with a granny in the attic.

I'd also like to see any free licence dependant on proving that you've actually been paying the full amount for the previous 10 years (at least).
That would pay for about 77,000 licences.
