Does anyone know what's happened to Richard Ingrams, who writes in The Observer? He hasn't been in the paper for a few weeks now. I tried to google his name but it's all old stuff. Appropriate I suppose!

He seems to be writing a weekly column in The Independent now.

I've just written to The Observer editor asking why we cant' be told when someone's leaving the paper.

though his departure was fairly well reported in the media." - that is, if you read the media
