One way would be to have a majority vote to scrap A 50 altogether, but the chance of that happening are slim, to say the least.

I'm perfectly aware of what I wrote, and it's entirely consistent with him being a prat - for the reasons I gave in my post of 22:56 Mon 05th Aug 2019.

He doesn't excuse yourself from being a prat just by quoting some economist. The quote was completely irrelevant. He's changed his mind, simple as that. That's if he really has changed his mind, rather than just lying for expediency - he is a politician after all.

Alternatively, if you want to claim that he was right before the facts changed, and he's right after the facts changed, because the facts changed, then maybe you'll explain why your opinion was the opposite to his before the facts changed!
