Some of the bonkers ideas that Labour have come up with recently are now starting to look more scary than laughable.
When Corbyn speaks, he seems to start off reasonably calm, but by the end he’s so megalomaniacal. I always expect him to start flailing his arms around and shout “exterminate, exterminate.”
He seems to be getting ever more unstable.
I never thought I would agree with Anna Soubry, but in the link she is quoted as saying “Mr Corbyn doesn't even command respect and support from his own party never mind across the political divide”.

Of course he needs the support of other parties. He can’t hope to form a government without a coalition. The numbers are not in his favour.
I wondered if Jo Swinson was regretting ruling out working with Corbyn actually. I suspect the positive reaponse of the other parties has taken her by surprise slightly.
Nonetheless I still feel a national unity government wouldn’t work. Probably no matter who was leading it.
It just needs someone to put through the obvious solution: a referendum - with a very short “campaign” - on the existing deal.
But there appears to be no consensus even for that among the moderates.
