//Stop being scrounges?//

Well, they have just turned down a free two-month holiday.

Doesn't sound that scroungy to me.

/// I certainly haven't accepted all the invitations I have ever received. ///

Neither have this couple, but we are talking about a family tradition here.
I have no wish to speak for Scotland, but I’ve yet to hear anyone complain about the absence of them in balmoral .
//Archie probably is too young to be spending 2 months with his grandma at Balmoral.//

One of Archie's grandmothers is in her home town of Los Angeles and the other one has been dead for 22 years.
I think it’s traditional for members of the Royal family to spend some time with the queen at Balmoral. I seem to recall reading that Diana hated it there. However, if these two have declined the invitation, that’s their business. Considering Archie’s already a bit of a seasoned traveller, it’s a poor excuse though – if it’s true.
So its all "reported or assumed" Has anyone thought that the Queen might want to spend a quiet time with Prince Phillip and that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex might be covering for this?

ummmm

My grandson fought side by side in Afghanistan with Prince Harry in the Army Air Corps, he like Harry is no longer in the Forces and back in chivvy street earning money of his own, so as to support his wife and young child.

And why does the Prince choose to shred the less attractive Army Air Corps uniform for the more attractive Blues and Royals uniform, as does the Prince on ceremonial occasions?

I consider this as a snub against the great brave Army Air Corp.
what a snowflake you are then AOG!

so the Sussexes have to go to Balmoral because your son was in the AAC?
your link says they are going....so which is it?
Luck of birth, AOG, luck of birth.

I'd rather have my privacy though.
If it helps at all we have a surfeit of bearded gingers up here. Should this one choose an alternative holiday we'll manage but thanks for all your concern.
Most of our bearded gingers have a full head of hair .
Is this something else that's been reported by 'friends' or 'insiders'?
Very true Dougie . :*)
Meghan Markle didn't join the Royal Family, Harry joined the showbiz set, when they married. Balmoral is just not glittery enough for her. She would have to show a little decorum there and Harry would be in no position to bully any complainant who was disenchanted by her attention seeking behaviour.
What rank does Prince Harry hold in the Army Air Corps?

Some people just can't let the opportunity to have their digs at Meghan pass can they? You have naff all idea what the woman is like, you just jumped on that Mail online hate train and believed every negative thing you read about them.

How about this: They're a newly married couple enjoying the early days of being a new family and trying to keep out of the public gaze.
