The Supreme Court will start hearing it on 17/9 but when would the judgement be given. It might be to late to serve any useful purpose.

I thought the Scottish court had already ruled that the use of minusterial prerogative, whatever its intentions, was not judiciable.

VE, the Scots case went to appeal, was heard by the Inner House and the verdict was upheld.

It will be going to the Supreme Court.

The Miller case will also be going to the Supreme Court but the arguments in the cases are not the same.

In the Scots case, the argument is that the advice given to the Queen for agreeing to prorogation was unreasonable.

In the English case, the argument is that the length of the prorogation is unreasonable.

There is also a case being heard by the High Court in Belfast. The grounds for that case are that the actions contravene the Belfast Agreement.
