Now I think we all know males have and we know what women have.......what does the Beep Beep See think the other 98 have? Here we go looby loo.

I'm sure there are far more than 100. A spectrum doesn't really have a limit to how much you can put on it. More to the point, why would anyone care, or try to categorise their entire personality with one word?

it's very simple, the prescence of a Y chromosome = Male, the abscence = Female, end of. No amount of dressing up and surgery changes that.

Intersex people are Male or female still, ummm... it is possible, but very rare to be "both," or ,"neither". But nobody is "in between". It is a very misleading word, because (to me, anyway) it seems to suggest someone that is between a Male and female and not actually either.

A person can identify as a hermaphrodite banana for all I care. As long as it brings them happiness and they aren't hurting anyone else its no concern of anyone else's. Respect their decision and move on with our lives. Save your anger for more important things.

I feel it's actually confusing to try and include a number when children ask this question, as Pixie says we really have no idea how many genders there are.

Easier to be honest with pupils and let the debate flow.

They are, and always have been different, og. I think the opposite- we have had far more problems since the two words have started being interchanged- and that causes confusion.
People start believing that whichever stereotypes they follow "should" match what sex they are. Why should they? I doubt anyone's does entirely.
Understanding the difference, science and reality are vital.

I think when things get that far, then it's time for the he's doctors to get involved. Identify as anything as I said, but if you believe you can physically change to match your identity (by non-surgical means), then a person needs help.
