I don't like the death penalty, but I have no sympathy for them.

They tried to smuggle drugs, do the crime take the punishment.

The death sentence is mentioned only as a possibility, not mandatory. Had they been caught in Singapore it would have been a one-way journey to the gallows.

1 Not that I have any knowledge but 25Kg is probably a lifetimes use and more because you would not be alive for too long/
2 If they were being blackmailed, then there could have been other routes they could have followed i.i. Police
3 They would not be sorry if they achieved they their goal but just sorry now after being caught.

They chose what to do and have to face the consequences, I have no sympathies at all. They need to accept the penalties of the country they were arrested in.

I’m indifferent.....
If they get the death penalty then c’est la vie(no pun intended) and if they don’t, their prison time will be served in Pakistani jails, not languishing at the UK taxpayers expense.
