The girls didn't want to go in unless there was a group of them, the boys weren't happy until the girls had left, and the poor male teachers who came didn't know what to do. Being in a toilet area where teenage girls might walk in wasn't ideal for them and goes against what they are allowed to do on school premises.
What’s wrong with you lot? Not identifying as ‘gender neutral’ yet then? Time you got up to speed with the ‘right on’!! Why the rest of us are obliged to kowtow to these idiots is beyond me. No one should be surprised that the vast majority of boys and girls – you know, the ones who don’t have an issue with their identities - object to sharing toilets. I object too.
This sort of thing makes me so angry, utmost insensitivity and I'd be interested to read on here those who are going to defend it and how. I can't be the only one who remembers the horror of dealing with early periods in front of the other girls never mind if boys knew. Remember the smelly incinerator?
