As more and more black on black stabbings are taking place, the BBC have at last had the courage to air a programme dedicated to debating what is after all, a mainly black problem.
When will the authorities have the bottle to admit this and take more stringent measures to reduce this increasing problem?

I was going to say Glasgow is quite rough for crime, but we don't call it white on white crime, been though that's what it is.
I wonder, statistically of course.. with the amount of black people in London and the amount of stabbings on black people from black people how this would compare to other cities, going to Glasgow again? Would it compare, maybe?

What is needed is a massively bigger stick, to be used in conjunction with a continued supply of carrots.
It's just a question of whether the political will is there to do it, (which means spending money, and not paying too much attention to politically correct witterings) or whether we'll just continue to pussyfoot around the issue.
Parts of New York were dangerous hellholes in the 80s. They turned the problem around with a zero tolerance approach. That's what is needed if we really want to address the issue seriously.

"Bobbie, is mayor khan in charge of policing in London ?"
As I have posted before:
There are many areas of London life that are affected by the work of the Mayor of London and the London Assembly, such as policing, transport, housing, planning and the environment. The Mayor plays a key role by putting together plans and policies and running and funding projects. Before finalising his or her major strategies the Mayor must consult with Londoners and their elected representatives on the London Assembly.

No it isn’t.
It is a nationwide problem, and affects all communities.
Knife crime is bigger in the capital because it has more people. And in communities in London like Haringey, which is largely a black area, surprise surprise, the victims and perpetrators are mainly black.
But stabbings occur all over the country, in places with a lot fewer black people. North West England and the East Midlands combined have a similar number to London of stabbing crimes.
There are over 45,000 incidents a year, and just looking a London will give you a very distorted picture of what is actually happening. I realise that a distorted picture is useful to people who want to promote a certain agenda.
Some good info here
