I always think that during the run up, and over the Christmas period, the service you get from shops especially, and pubs/ eating out really declines. Its almost like they think they can throw anything at you at any price, well no thank you.

When out and about down shopping centre yesterday I had a bit of a hunger bug, well a sausage roll from Greggs would do the trick until I got back home. Waited in line for a time , they were very busy with kids being off, I was given roll in bag, picked it up, and no joke it was stone cold, the heat normally comes through the bag in no time, or at least warm ish.
said to the young girl, this is cold , can I have a hot one? she just nodded her head, you know the no no nod. So I said, I don't want it I'll have my money back, in turn she said if you want your money back I will have to get the manager to refund you, and you will have to wait, THEN I WILL!!. :0)
Now am I just being picky? Don't most go to Greggs for a hot snack most of the time? If I'd wanted a cold S/R I could have gone to M&S and would have got two smaller ones for 87p.

I prefer cold sausage rolls - hot ones are too greasy.

Yes I agree Mamy. I've often paid for a sausage roll, found the ones in the counter are not 'hot' anymore, so waited 10 minutes for one out of the oven.
