I find this confusing. Some see it as evidence that the government policies are driving lots more people into poverty. But isn't this also a sign that more food is being being donated - so it's a form of redistribution of wealth. If donations haven't increased then presumably when demand was lower food there was a surplus of food in foodbanks or they gave out bigger portions. Demand will equal supply won't it? As more is donated and more are aware then more people will be served. Or are we serving more people as demand grows but giving smaller portions so foodbank users are still going hungry?

It actually upsets me to see the raw delusions that infest the mind of upper crust toffs. It's awful.
Nurses use food banks because they spend 3 years on UNPAID internships.
They have placements as part of their training. They still get their student loan though.
In 2018 "Out of more than the 1,000 nurses surveyed, nine per cent are so hard done by they have been forced to use food banks "
It also upsets me to see the raw delusions of the radical left, especially those not in touch with reality. Nurses are assumed to be low-paid angels. They are far better paid than swathes of society. My workplace is a factory environment where highly skilled men are earning way less than nurses and most have families and children to support. Anybody in training, be it nurses or students, have to endure tough times financially, it's par for the course.
Rubbish!
spath, you were asked the other day who the 'upper crust toffs' are. I didn't see an answer ... so who are they?
^^^ That was to the peace lily.
Spath - you'd have to look at where their money is spent to be able to make a judgement.
Aye, because requesting a living wage for nurses is so radical left.
They do get a living wage though.
Spath, you're talking out of your hat again.

https://www.indeed.co.uk/cmp/Nhs/salaries?job_category=mednurse
£9.30 is a hourly living wage.

A nurse gets Average NHS hourly pay ranges from approximately £7.00 per hour for Home Care Nurse to £29.27 per hour for Registered Nurse - Operating Room.

So a large number of nurses are more than £2 short of a living wage.
Spath, you're talking nonsense. A Home Care Nurse gets £35,118 per year. See my link.
Why don't you copy my 2nd paragraph "nurse gets Average NHS hourly pay rang..." and do a CTRL F on your link.
Or.. to make it really easy for you. Go to your own link, and scroll to the bottom section "How much does NHS - Nursing in the United Kingdom pay?"
Of course he is. In any event, what are called 'nurses' aren't nurses at all but nursing assistants. They tend to work for agencies because the pay is higher and they can choose their hours. Most only work 3 days a week.
"Of course he is."

Well what i wrote was copy and pasted from Naomis link so that'd actually jokess on both of ya.
Reading TTT s opening reply to this post . you can see why the working and middle classes have no time for the Radicalised Tories
