"Our rules commit us to ending all forms of discrimination, bigotry and stereotyping. UCU has a long history of enabling members to self-identify whether that is being black, disabled, LGBT+ or women."
Still, good to know they will respect my right to identify as an eskimo pre-op about to become a male legless stuttering little girl.
Although I've never seen it, I understand that the TV programme "The Walking Dead" is very popular. I imagine that quite soon they'll be producing a sequel called "The Walking Weirdos".
Mozz, ///That you will have to raise with the perpetrators//
I just did. You haven't answered yet. ///
Oh I see ... you mean me. You should have said. What have I said that's caused you to take offence on behalf of other people - most of whom I presume you don't know?
I would like to identify as a 6ft 24-year-old female supermodel, heiress of North, Central and South America, multi-billionairess who is exempt from the law of all lands.
Zacs, //Well, you’ve called such actions “potty” and a “nonsensical pretence”. //
I have indeed. Accepting that black people may identify as white and vice versa is potty - and it is nonsensical pretence - as is men masquerading as women and insisting on being allowed to use female facilities. I'd still like to know why if it shouldn't matter to a woman it's okay that it matters to them. No answer to that one yet.
Ha. I’m not sure we move in the same circles. I’ve been in many a nightclub / pub where the occupants were mixed gender. Heck, I’ve even been to a campsite in Cap d’agde with mixed showers. I can’t ever recall anyone announcing what they identified as.
