No support the death penalty, but graded murders, to ensure no innocent person is hanged if there is a possibility of further evidence turning up years later.
But absolute life without parole and die in prison should be the alternative, and not the prisons we have now. Too expensive.
How about something like a POW camp with barbed wire, basic huts, roll calls three times a day, and absolute discipline.
Cheap and effective.
Question Author
it won;t be cheap, nothing is, if they are violent criminals like these two then locking them up in a prison for good is the only way to go.
Our prisons are now filling up with elderly ,often sick and infirm prisoners. The ones who were imprisoned years ago and put on life sentences. Soon there won't be enough room for all the murderers committing atrocious crimes like Jodies. What will happen then?
Question Author
we have to build more prisons, they have been saying this for years now, and they should get on with it.
During WW2 we locked up violent men, a darn sight cheaper than today.
All it needs is a bit of imagination and the balls to do do it.
"if there is a possibility of further evidence turning up years later"

You honestly think there's the remotest chance of that in this case?
Good chance they'll never get out.
Question Author
one is 17 he will get out and can't see that as right somehow.
Andres - they transfer them to psychiatric hospitals.
Not on this case, but graded murder is the way to go.
The difference between actual and circumstantial evidence.
Question Author
well they know who did the killing, premeditated and without mercy.
///we have to build more prisons, they have been saying this for years now, and they should get on with it. //

Why exactly emmie. The percentage of foreign scum in our prisons should be deported first. Mr Cameron offered to help Jamaica with a massive financial package to build their own prison so we could free the cells here for our own scum. The Jamaican government dont want their own scum back. They opened their cell doors and got rid of a load under the condition they sailed to the UK back in the Windrush days.
Most of our prisoners are full of these foreigners. Either deport them or send them to their maker. We UK taxpayers have to subsidise foreign Health Tourists. Why should we house and feed foreign criminals who live better in the nick than our own old age pensioners.
How many foreign prisoners do you hear that have died of hypothermia or malnutrition in the winter months in this country.
Emmie. You are paying for their comfort whilst you worry about paying your heating bill.
Question Author
retro, get your point, yes send the scum back to their homelands first, then we can house our own
we should also outsource our own prisoners to cheaper foreign prisons like Turkey for example, much cheaper that looking after then ourselves and these places know how to run a nick.
A young girl dead and young lives ruined. How senseless it all is. What is wrong with these kids?
Drugs and status, Naomi.
I just despair, ummmm. What a terrible waste.
We shouldn’t have to be despairing. We should confront this situation head on, with zero tolerance. The meek will always be the victims.
How, david?
The usual naomi. More prisons with full harsh sentence.
Harsh military discipline. Upon certain conviction beyond dispute for murder, death sentence. Yada yada. Not going to happen though. Recidivism rampant.
