Do You Buy Plastic Bags
Answers
There's only one sure way of dealing with plastic carrier bags, and that's to ban supermarkets from selling them completely. I know there's been a big reduction since charging for them, but is it the answer? no I don't think so. We would soon get used to taking our own cloth bags when going shopping, like years ago.

.. I'm going to take up juggling.. to help save the planet.
Joshing aside I'm fully aware that plastic is a major problem globally especially for marine life (Eco-warriors please don't preach all other implications) but do agree shops should do more and I'd be more than happy to carry my goods in a recycled tree.

If you walk to the shops or go by bus or taxi, I can understand why you would need to put your shopping into bags. If you go in a car and you forget to get your bags out of the boot or you don't take enough bags into the shop, why can't you just put your stuff back in the trolley and wheel it back to your car?
