UK borrowing by governments:

The labour government in the past 33 years has borrowed 500 billion pounds.

Conservatives in the past nine years have borrowed 7770 billion pounds.

Is this correct? - apparently this info is from "Bank of England's Economic Data" https://www.bankofengland.co.uk/

Sorry I have researched further. Apparently it IS true. However, it's apparently not a fair comparison, because the government has got bigger as well as the economy.
the figures in your question don't match the figures in your link. the question figures suggest a borrowing rate of an order of magnitude bigger, rather than the approximate double of the link figures.
