//A Saudi pilot who killed three people on a US airbase in Florida had called America a "nation of evil" and quoted Osama bin Laden in social media posts hours before opening fire, according to an extremism monitoring group.

The killer, a member of the Royal Saudi Air Force who had been training at the Pensacola airbase, was shot dead by a sheriff's deputy.

He has not been formally identified, although Reuters quoted two unnamed officials as saying he was Second Lieutenant Mohammed Saeed Alshamrani.

The SITE Intelligence Group, which tracks Islamist extremism online, said that he had posted on Twitter about US wars in the Middle East shortly before the shootings.

Police have said they are investigating whether the attack was terror-related...//

Didn't know you were racial, Naomi. Not that it matters to me, mind.
I was going to empathise with you yesterday. Not sure why you keep trying.

HereIam, //YOU GO GIRL ...//

Haha! Thanks hereIam. I think there are a couple of people here who wish I would. Nothing pseudo about your intellect. ;o)

Spicerack, //Didn't know you were racial, Naomi.//

It’s news to me too. You can learn such a lot here. Would you believe that after all these years I’ve just learnt today that it’s okay to be as rude as you like to people if you think they’re thick skinned? Amazing.
In my experience, racist is definitely not a character trait of Naomi.
Neither am I yet it is a label often stuck on me.
Maybe you should ask yourself why Theland.
Oh yes I do.
The conclusion I come to is that I recognise the negative impact on our country, of mass immigration, leading to black and Muslim ghettos.
I am a nationalist and totally reject the stupidity of diversity and integration and multiculturalism.
You may like it, I do not.

AKA - racist thinks other racist isn't racist just like they don't think they are racist themselves.
TD - There you go. I rest my case.
TD, can you offer proof of this racism you seem to think Theland is guilty of?
No. My comment wasn't meant to highlight Theland as a racist, more the sentiment Theland was trying to shake off.

If someone classes you as a racist, (this apparently happened before my answer at 15:10) then you may not be in a position to be able to tell others if they are a racist or not. Racists tend to dismiss racism.

Vulcan, if Theland could highlight where someone called him a racist then maybe I could highlight to you where Theland was racist.
These threads are sometimes like paint balling.
Being splattered with coloured paint rounds.
It's funny sometimes.
Like this thread.
// What's to investigate?// whether there are any more

although I agree with the sentiment - the 22 in Manch have outstanding inquests after two years - why? we know who they are and how they died.

it is also a theme in America which doesnt seem to occur here - members of the armed forces shooting each other up.

The Times had a confusing article on this - he showed videos of mass shootings at a dinner party he hosted. Two watched from a parked car and one filmed from around the corner.
[excuse me?]
My post at 15:06 might attract a few shots :-)
Thelands answer on this thread at 21:23 Sun 08th Dec 2019 is a bit racy. Theland is implying terrorists only arrive from outside our borders. Considering the most recent terrorist attack was from a man born and bred in England I'm unsure how people can imply these kind of things.

Political terror attacks usually stem from people who these politics affect. Religious terror attacks are situations in themselves, but considering religions are confined by borders or race, why mention it?

It's bordering on racism but I'm not one to look for things when they're not there.
"My post at 15:06 might attract a few shots :-)"

Nah, too easy. "Muslims aint a race" - argument won surely?
// You can learn such a lot here.[but so few do] Would you believe that after all these years I’ve just learnt today that it’s okay to be as rude as you like to people if you think they’re thick skinned? //
[what you learnt that today?]

The problem Trump has, is that Saudi is an ally and need to be kept so, but ALSO seems to be heavily implicated in financing terrorism.
which is not a problem unless your own dough-boys are getting blown to smithereens

Osama bin L was related ( and might have taken money from) the saudi royal family, it wasnt just a coincidence
// but considering religions are confined by borders or race, //

er there is a 'not' astray isnt there?

should be: but considering religions are not confined by borders or race,
//Muslims ain't a race//
But they can still suffer racism:-
//Racism is where someone thinks you're inferior because of your colour, ethnicity, nationality or race//
TD - I have never claimed Islam is a race.
You are not very well read, but hey ho, who cares?
We are just having a friendly respectful discussion eh?
"should be: but considering religions are not confined by borders or race"

Yes, peterPedant, it should read with a "not".
Theland, you didn't mention Islam at 15:06.
