// not worked out quite as she imagined.// True Judge. She was convinced that she was going to turn into a fairytale princess after "kissing the frog", and ride pink unicorns through the rainbows with cheering serfs everywhere she went. Never expected to have to open a new disability ramp on the Glasgow job centre in the pouring rain.

And her ‘family’ will jump on the bandwagon hellywelly
what a nasty article....and some "close confidante"
Dad's already said he's disappointed with their decision. He'll never get to have tea with the Queen, now :-(
Papers will be full of 'un-named sources' and 'old friends/acquaintances' giving their twopenneth.
"Interesting" and "Daily Mail" are to things I put together very often.
1 letter + 1 word missing, mozz?
I must admit i didn't read all of the article but the photo of the Queen taken at the wedding, the way she is looking at MM makes me wonder if the Queen has had her suspicions from the start.
//1 letter + 1 word missing, mozz?//

Yup. Posting after bedtime is never a good idea.

Or during the day it seems.
all the muck raking, no wonder she has jumped ship
She’s better off out of it.
It wasn’t her who started the dog whistle racist jibes
I think that article is probably pretty accurate. The nation welcomed her, the wedding was an occasion of great celebration, she looked spectacular, and his adoration of her was plain for all to see, but the rumbles and complaints began within a very short time. I think she is a diva who needs to be top dog - something that within the Royal family she can never be. Harry has gone from a happy-go-lucky chap to a troubled man - and for good reason - but, as he said, what Meghan wants Meghan gets. The bottom line is you can, metaphorically, take the girl out of Essex but you can never take Essex out of the girl. (Sorry Essex, no offence intended).
@Ichkeria 05.46.Wasnt it that cheeky Cockney comedian and celebrity Labour Party and Corbynista,Danny Baker who started it all off?
If I were her, I wouldn’t be taking any Chauffeur driven Limos for the foreseeable.
Out of Sussex surely ?
Naomi //I think that article is probably pretty accurate//
Not quite, according to Chris Shipp, ITV's royal correspondent, Harry made an appointment with the Queen a week before the announcement but this appointment was subsequently cancelled by the Queen. So, in fact she was aware Harry's intention before he announced it.
Naomi @ 9.19 I agree with everything you said. She was old enough to know what she was getting into but when she couldn't have her own way it's 'poor me' and Harry is so besotted he lets her get away with it.
danny, //she was aware Harry's intention before he announced it.//

She wasn't aware that he was going to announce it to the world though. He should know better - and the Queen deserves better.

I feel very sad that things have come to this. There has been so much speculation in the papers but they seem to generally agree that it’s all Meghan’s fault. We don’t know anything really as none of us (?) has anyone ‘on the inside’. I agree (as usual) with Naomi. We welcomed her but she didn’t like us. If she goes to stay in North America (Canada or USA) Harry will go with her so he can be with Archie.
Boto, //Harry is so besotted he lets her get away with it. //

If he wants the marriage to survive (and I don't believe it will) I don't think he has much choice. As someone said in the article it's her way or no way.
No, I don’t think this marriage will survive either, you can take the girl out of Hollywood but you can’t take Hollywood out of the girl, he’s been brought up tots different and knows no other way
