In his speech, Harry intimates that he hasn't been totally happy (about what we don't know) "for years". Long before he met Meghan. Perhaps he believed that having someone else to shoulder the responsibilities of performing Royal duties would ease the burden? As I have said - and keep saying - we don't know. And most likely we never will but that doesn't stop some from posting opinions as if they were statements of fact. You - and others - may well be correct. Meghan Markle may be the Wicked Witch of the West who has cast her spell on a hapless young man who now does as she commands. In my opinion, witches are like ghosts and gods. They don't exist.

I think he did believe that - and perhaps, in the beginning and in the first flush of love, she did too. The reality, however, has proven to be very different. She’s said she’s unhappy and he has said that there was no other option. How difficult is that to understand?

And he hinted he's been unhappy for years. How difficult is that to understand? It takes two to tango. Again you appear to be expressing your opinion as a statement of fact. It is therefore a waste of time - mine and yours - continuing this discussion.
