A pretty appalling show from the BBC last night. The camera zoomed over the assembled throng in Parliament Square, Mr Farage was seen standing on stage, but where was his speech? Instead of him we got Emily Whatshername prattling on. Did any of the television companies offer a fitting tribute to this momentous occasion in this country’s history? It appears, once again, that the BBC just couldn’t bring itself to report as it should - honestly.

You're right, Naomi. It was a disgrace, a clear attempt to sour any feeling of joy for the majority of people in this country - those who have had to suffer years of abuse and disappointment - and for what? For the benefit of the miserable minority that took such delight in every setback we faced - and the broadcasters were never shy of showing the glee and...

Retro //Perhaps Jim360 accidentally missed the gentleman with his daughter//
Don't think it was an accident.
I did miss him, but it's not a deliberate omission, and I wasn't implying either that people who changed their mind since 2016 have only flowed one way.

My point in this case is merely to point out that the BBC had access to at least two, and probably quite a few more, vox pops from people not so pleased about last night's events, and released none of them. Worth noting, in the interests of balance about what the BBC is and isn't reporting.
And, yet again, malice has been assumed in favour of something more innocent. I didn't even see said person, or if I did then I simply forgot about him. There is nothing more to it than that.

You would say that.
Yes, I would, because it's true.

If you say so Jim.
The sooner the Biased Broadcasting Censors fold and disappear the better.
I don't come on AB in the hopes that people would suddenly start to agree with me -- but I did rather hope that I wouldn't have to justify not mentioning everything that has appeared on television and/or radio in the last 24 hours.
I too was disappointed with the so called coverage, although at one point they did show celebrations going on in my home town, which I was very pleased with ..
Didn't watch any of it. I don't know what all the fuss is about. As I've said before, the UK is now like a double glazing salesman - knocking on doors, hoping for custom.

Maisie, //the miserable minority //

Maybe they'll cheer up a bit soon. :o)
I doubt it, and with that in mind they could do with a catchy new monicker (Les Mis?) because the Vichy thing is wearing thin now.

sorry - no 'c' in moniker!
I hope i am wrong, but as far as i am concerned this whole Brexit thing is going to end in massive tears all round.Probably one of the stupidest things that us Britishers have ever done.
Les Mis isn't enough of a wordplay. EU-logists?

Or the EU-seless.
... just checked it - alt. sp. with a 'c' too.
...I think I'll stick with Les Mis, says it all - and with a nice continental touch.
I want EU,
I want EU so bad
I want EU
I want EU so bad it's driving me mad, it's driving me mad...
