And yes, if he was mentally ill, that is well worth knowing, as sometimes, that can be helped. While pure "evilness" generally can't.
Obviously, that doesn't mean "getting away with it" as an excuse, but more intense treatment and supervision...

I have explained to the point of exhaustion that being a Moderator does not preclude me from entering any thread and posting as I see fit.

It also does not exclude me from Site Rules, and if you, or Naomi, or anyone else, thinks my posts are inappropriate, you have the right of Report.

Naomi is perfectly capable of fighting her own battles, and I stand by my posts, as she does with hers.

It's not 'my argument' - it's a statement of fact, and if you prefer not to answer me, that's fine, but of course I am free to answer you.

BTW, I do exchanges of views and opinions, with varying degrees of bluntness depending whom I am addressing and how they address me in return.

I do not, however do 'slanging matches'.

Interest is in the eye of the beholder, and deciding to close a thread is in the eyes of the Moderators and Editorial Team.

If threads were closed because views are frankly expressed, then the threads to which you contribute would be under serious threat!
