It's no secret, indeed, it's something that President Trump always shouts out as a positive character asset, that he enjoys being a stupid narrow minded bigot in matters of art and culture. Complaining that there are enough 'problems with South Korea over trade ...' rather speaks to his inability to understand that countries are not just limited to...
This is the most hilarious thread posted here for a very long time. I do love a laugh!
Anyone who doesn’t understand why businesses are put into administration doesn’t understand business. Donald Trump, they cry, is a failed businessman - one who inherited two hundred million dollars from daddy … but they neglect to acknowledge that Donald Trump is now worth an estimated 3 billion. That’s BILLION people! Some failed businessman! Magic!!!

Coming in as a very close second in inanity to the absolutely ludicrous awarding of the Best Picture Oscar to "Parasite" is the choice of Best Answer to this ridiculous post.
Wow, spicey, that was a fast response...As they sometimes say, Fools rush in...Incidentally, that's a nice little Tickle-Trunk of random thoughts that you have in which to delve into.
No, Mozz, I have not seen that movie, and I don't think that many people outside of South Korea have probably seen it. I am under the impression that the Oscars are intended to primarily promote the American movie industry, with the occasional award going to a foreign movie and/or actor/actress...I think the last time I went to see a movie was in the '80s.
Not really Sanmac. The awards are for world cinema, it's just that the Academy has, in the past, been mainly made of Hollywood types, loving to blow their own trumpet.
Maybe I'm more open to foreign cinema, as I'm a huge fan of both Akira Kurosawa and Hayao Miyazaki. I found it utterly refreshing to see a foreign language movie win the big prize, and believe it should have happened years ago.
