Of course it would be a bad idea for teachers to share toilets with students who are of school age (although it does happen in some sixth forms and colleges), and the issue has nothing to do with transphobia.
But I would take some aspects of the reporting with more than a pinch of salt. A quick look at the daily political newswire shows its angle on many topics, including LGBT issues with its comments about the presence of an LGBT character in a Pixar film. And it makes its views clear when it says about this trans teacher:
" a video surfaced of him “coming out” to his students and demanding they call him “Mx.” instead of “Mr.” That should have been the moment that the school district saw him unfit to teach anymore ."
Does that really make him/(her/them?) unfit to teach?
