We'll be at the back of the queue for a vaccine though and it'll cost us more now that we leave the EMA in December unless we can get there first.Plus we've already left the EU's bulk buying mechanism for medicines and vaccines.

All over the radio this morning regarding that Johnson should order pubs, clubs, etc. to close so that they can claim on their insurance.
Legal teams on the radio stating that Johnson has sold all the owners short by not ordering the closures...

Yes, they were appealing to our better nature (let's hope we have that in abundance) and asking/advising us to do certain things. I'd much rather that than the draconian rules that now exist in France and Spain which really are in full lockdown.

I agree with the majority. Well done Boris.

However, I do agree with NJ about the closure of pubs, restaurants, etc. It should be compulsory. There will be many who will stay open.

Ok, thanks Togo... that seems to make a lot of sense, while still being reassuring.
I haven't watched all the questions, although the first one mentioned Care homes. I have spoken to the manager of the one I worked at, and they are arranging for a staff living area in the home. So that, if it ends up being quarantined, staff can live in and stay there, to reduce the risk of lots of different people going in and out. They haven't yet been given any official or specific advice (as we haven't either). But it seems to be just being careful and aware, so far.

By telling people to stay away from pubs, bars and restaurant Johnson without ordering the establishments to close...may turn out to be problematic.

If the government haven't ordered these places to close, then it (or rather, we) don't have to take any financial responsibility - no sick pay or compensation because the government hasn't mandated it.

But these places [i]will[/i] effectively be shut down.

I lost count of how many times he told us that we have to protect the NHS, I thought they were suppose to protect us. What he's saying is that the NHS is already on its knees before this virus even gets off the ground, an I should have got my finger out 3 months ago, but I didn't.
