Will We Be Sporting Some Wild And Wacky Hairstyles Over The Coming Months?
48 Answers
On a lighter note, I was just about to call my hairdresser to cancel my next appointment when she phoned me to say she’d decided not to work until this is all over. Very wise in my opinion. It occurred to me though that many of us will be left to our own devices with colours and cuts and all the rest of the paraphernalia that usually belongs in a hair salon - the effects of which remain to be seen. I guess for me it will be home colouring and longer hair. What will you do?

By the time this is all over, we'll all have hair down to our waists and more hairstyles will be open to us as a result. Before I joined the army - a million years ago - my hair was as long as any decent rocker's. Now when it grows a tad long, it starts to curl up at the back. So I have to keep it at a 'respectable' length:-(
I have just enrolled in the "Mr Teasy Weasy - Hairdresser in a Week" online course.
I can already make tea and sweep floors, so that's module 1 done, now I just need to persuade a friend to let me do the "wash hair in a chronically uncomfortable position" practical for module 2.
I expect to be fully qualified by Friday ... to be giving gness a full wash/cut/colour/dry on Saturday ... and if lucky to be walking without pain by the end of next week.

Not a problem for me as I detest going to the hairdressers, I'd rather go to the dentist and have all my teeth pulled out! I stopped colouring my hair over 20years ago and now it is 50 shades of grey! I also taught myself to cut my own hair and although I usually tend to cut it a bit too short, it does eventually grow and fortunately it doesn't look like the picture jackthehat has put on. My problem at the moment is I'm overdue for an eye test but there's no way I want anyone that close to me.
