Now you can come in to the UK on a special free flight in the middle of a pandemic to live in tight communities and pick fruit.

since most of those who arrive in rubber boats or in the backs of lorries are doctors, surgeons, nurses or highly qualified engineers or academics (allegedly), they probably wouldn't qualify for the airlift.

I agree Maydup- but it's the sort of job in a remote area where the workers stay on site in huts. I'd try it for a few weeks if I could drive there and back easily each day

Fruit needs to be picked, get the pickers in. They are isolated anyway and lets face it the Tories have pretty much trashed the economy to save a couple of lives, possibly.
