//we have a local whatsapp group and when slots become available omeone usually pot, we have also shared slots with neighbours//
There's three problems with that - (1) there are no slots available for either me or my neighbours. (2) the last thing I would get involved in is whatsapp groups of any description - especially with my neighbours. (3) sharing a delivery, even if it was possible, introduces more problems with contact than it actually solves. But 2 and 3 are immaterial because of 1.
// I've also discovered that basics and veg/meat deliveries are available from local suppliers such as dairies and online sources. Maybe you should have a look.//
Thanks for the suggestions, pasta, but we don't have any "local suppliers" where I live and certainly none that I would trust or who would deliver. But it's no matter as I'm quite happy to go to the shops - I don't actually want my stuff delivered. It's not as if I've much else to do (apart from bottoming the kitchen). I'm sorry if it doesn't fit the government's agenda of "Stay at Home" but needs must.
