Oh Dear Boris
That told me nothing at all, I waited and hoped you’d give us something ‘new’ yet everything you said, we’d been aware of already ......

I understood most of it but the transport to get to work bit. He encouraged people to use their cars but where would you park? If I go back to work I don't have a parking space and I'm not spending a fortune on car parks and meters. Also, will public transport need to be increased? Was it reduced?
If you based in England but work in the devolved parts of the UK, how is that going to work travelling across the borders?

I agree about the 'driving to other places' bit Tilly- but I realise some people had been taking those decisions already. I've avoided doing it and been frustrated at seeing neighbours driving 30 miles to the hills/beach or hearing AB boast about doing it. At least I now have the choice to do it if I want to.
It would have been better to say the return to work would start from a week on Monday and await your employer to contact you. I don't see a huge change though- what workers are actually going to return to work tomorrow as I struggle to think of any examples. Surely they need to wait for the employer to tell them that safe systems are in place and to discuss the arrangements- eg part time/full time, what happens to furlough

Yes...good points. I suspect that most companies won't have a return to work strategy sorted out yet. It's Sunday night and they would have to contact all employees - but beyond that, getting to and from work whilst avoiding public transport and arranging childcare for the kids who are not yet back in school.

Bob on Apc. Just told "she who must be obeyed" that we are freeee. First though I will buy two walking sticks(we do not need them) and wave them about aggressively if any git come near us when we are out and about. Then she says that we are in Wales......it doesn't count. I did not vote for that shower of "elifiant" I said, and if anyone tries to stop me they will get short thrift.
