When even such a low level journalist as Piers Morgan can very easily rip a Government Minister to pieces, it is clear we are being governed by a bunch of dangerous amateurs.
It is sad that the best spokesman this government is able to produce to reassure the public, turns out to be an uninformed imbecile.
Which might go to explain why we are in this mess, and many other countries aren’t.
it's more of the Andrew neil mop rant as far as I can see. All they do is cut him off, no one looks good when you have a brainless eejit motor mouthing.
It’s not often I agree with Morgan, but here I do.
I said yesterday that I was impressed by Johnson’s speech, but I think I was taken in by his chutzpah and charisma.
This is a disaster.
Amazing though, that when Morgan does the same to a left wing guest, everyone here is cheering him to the rafters.
The MP was given every chance to speak, especially when Suzanne was interviewing him, and every time he opened his cakehole, he spewed the usual diatribe of half-truths and denial.
I know, but the MP spent the entirety of the interview with Suzanne talking guff. It was only when he wouldn't give her a straight answer did Morgan cut in. If he had answered properly in the first place, he wouldn't have got the hairdryer treatment from Piers.
I don't agree that Morgan is a low-level journalist (though I don't much like him): he's got skills like being able to remember facts, marshal them into a cogent argument and come to a conclusion. Good barristers and journalists can all do this; so can good MPs. I don't know why they send clots like Bridgen into battle, but I suspect it's because most of them aren't too bright.
I have to confess to being more confused than ever.
Not a fan of the Piers interview bullying style, but I think he was speaking for the majority of the people here.
Boris has certainly been poorly advised.
