Its not looking at all good for the Con Men at the moment. They have dropped twenty five points in the last four days in the Approval Ratings. Don't know about them being re-elected in 2024. If Boris does not stop Day Dreaming they probably will not be in power by the end of the year.

He'd probably make more sense if he was 3T.

16.00 I can always tell when a person like yourself, feel they are losing an argument , When they turn to school playground insults.
Did you miss my question at 1510? I did ask you for the information politely.

16.03 Judging by your rude remark it is plain to tell you have not improved a lot from your upbringing on the Peckam Housing estate.
is that near Peckham?
yeah as the girl says
"suck it up big time
you voted them in!"

and you jnow She is always right and actually I agree
time to get on with something else !
Oh Gulliver, you've waited so long. Hope springs eternal, as 'they' say.
Hey if we are talking about Bonker Boris
then that question should be - is that his *** ! ?

oh damn - that should be Packer or rhymes with
Hopital Necker....
Kier Starmer went up in the ratings ?
yeah and they think Sturgeon is doing a better job over covid than Bonker Boris
despite her zeroing the whole of the Isle of Skye
(er not personally of course)
Boris is taking a calculated risk - that this will blow over and be forgotten, and he can ride out the current unpopularity, and shine again another day.

History shows that this is a sound tactic, and is likely to succeed.

He gets to keep his adviser, and everything moves on.

Result.
as Harold WIlson said in the sixties

Anyone know if the Knit and Natter club has been allowed to reopen at the WRVS.
If so can you let Naomi know. Please.

Support for the" Dick and and Dom Party " has dropped even more today,
Just a Cummings blip. With Boris' honeymoon period over, and the foolish behaviour from a valued advisor, it allows critics to have a field day. It'll pass soon enough. A week is a long time in politics. There's as near zero chance of the Tories not being in power at the year end as it's possible to get, and no reason to believe Boris won't still be leading. We just have to wiat until the dissent over his support for his advisor, fades away.

I just hope Boris does not sack Cummings , he is the best thing that ever happened to the Tory party, please Boris do not sack Cummings.
//I can always tell when a person like yourself, feel they are losing an argument , When they turn to school playground insults.//

I wasn't arguing pal, I was asking you to back up your points with something more substantial than your word, which is utterly biased. The fact that you ignored my first request says more about you than it does about me.

The fact that there was proof available, and you couldn't be bothered to provide it, tells me you weren't looking for anything other than a little scrap on AB.
There seem to be a lot of answers to this post. I haven't read any of them and am replying to the OP (it's called 'living dangerously!'). Gulliver, 'A week is a long time in politics,' I think it was Harold McMillan said that and I remember reading the headline as a child (obsessive reader). 2024 is eons away in politics, anything can happen - Covid 19 wipes out half the world; a jihad to end all jihads and crusades can be called; China or USA could nuke each other. You get the idea - I hope. Storm in a teacup i.m.o..

I entirely agree with your analysis that this will blow over, which Mr Johnson knows full well as an experienced politician - but I don't think that that should allow us to shrug off the seriousness and anger of the situation as it is now.

History will see it as a minor blip in the scheme of things, but in the here and now, a lot of people are still waiting to calm down.

They will, but not today ...
Harold Wilson said ' a week is a long time in politics.'
