Does anyone except Corbyn think he deserves one. One nasty biased man in my opinion.

One small flaw in that argument, he was not a 'leader', he was The Speaker, and in his role he was to remain above politics and maintain an attitude of impartiality.
Since no-one, including himself, could argue that he drove a coach and horses through that aspect of his remit, he is duly being punished for his duplicity by being denied the customary honour.
He was a fervent anti-Brexit supporter, and often didn't even pretend to hide his bending of parliamentary privelidge in order to see that Brexit was hindered at every opportunity.
He was a disgrace to his office, and has been duly rewarded for his abject treachery.

If anyone was seeking to 'drive a coach and horses' through anything, Andy, it was Boris Johnson, who tried to drive a coach and horses through established Parliamentary procedures by seeking to prorogue Parliament in order to avoid an awkward debate and vote.
Any Speaker who is presented with such a situation MUST stand up and seek to avoid that happening, as John Bercow rightly did. I repeat that it is Parliament as a whole that must be allowed to run the country, and not just the Government.

Mamya - // I find this rather interesting, if he had lied and said he care not you wouldn't have had your giggles though would you? //
Bercow is being 'honest' for a change, because he can't do anything else.
Faced with the fact that he absolutely deserved what he got, or rather didn't get, the only choice he has is to put a brave face on it, and try to retain what shreds of tattered dignity he still clings on to.
It doesn't matter if he lies or not, he knows why he is being denied a peerage, and so does the rest of the country, so all he can do is grit his teeth and slink off back to the lecture circuit, and the eventual obscurity he has so assiduously earned.

Ironically, that may be about the only time when the Speaker actually acted correctly and fulfilled his function!
It is the rest of his daily chicanery that has got him where he isn't today.
