Utter Lunacy 60 Statues To Go
BLM have targeted 60 Statues and Plaques. Their choices are bizzare. Will we now have black stabbing victims picking and choosing what hospitals save their lives. They apparently now don't appreciate Guy's hospital. I am sure Guys didn't turn them away when they were bleeding to death.
Arms manufacture and Engineer Armstrong. Obviously BLM would have sooner lived under a Nazi regime. Armstrong Company manufactured the Armstrong Whiteley Bomber in the 2nd W.W.

Peaceful protests didn't work for women so the suffragettes chained themselves to buildings and set fires.
If you feel it's appropriate to honour slave traders with statues then you're living in the wrong era. I've been on this planet a long time and let me tell you, movements didn't move without a bit of protest and violence. Bring those statues down.

Just had a read through the list in your link, retro, and if what is said therein is factual, some of them need to come down. It is a mystery as to why they were erected in the first place. Shooting young black children from a boat in order to calibrate the sights of a rifle and torturing a 14 year old girl. Hardly the stuff od role models worthy of a statue. Perhaps the fact many of those involved in the slave trade built hospitals and such was to assuage their guilt?
Crapatcryptics; I pointed out yesterday that the decision to keep the statue was reached by a 56% - 44% majority. Where did you get your 2%?
