I reckon that they might just still be able to do so!

PS: People might not take that much notice of match commentators anyway:
Many years ago, a mate of mine got called upon at very short notice to provide reports on a Doncaster Rovers home game for listeners to BBC Radio Sheffield. He didn't know the name of a single Doncaster player, yet alone of their opponents, but he was handed a match programme as he settled into his commentary seat, meaning that he'd be able to identify each player from the number on his shirt.
The studio handed over to him periodically throughout the first half and he provided what he thought were accurate updates on the state of play. It was only at half-time though that he realised the programme he'd been given was a fortnight old. Not only was the Doncaster team significantly different by then but he'd been getting their opponents wrong (and, obviously, not a single one of their player's name right) for 45 minutes. Not one listener had phoned into Radio Sheffield to complain!

Well personally I don’t like or watch football so I don’t really care what they put on the shirts.
But as with everything else in life I think there should be consistency.
Are political messages allowed? Are personal messages allowed?
If yes fine. If no then don’t.
To jump on the bandwagon of a political movement (especially an organisation set up based on a lie) is really quite sad.
I really don’t think a great deal will come of all this In the end. As far as I am aware, there is no law that says a black person cannot live, work and vote in this country. As far as I am aware, there is no law that specifically singles out black people for less favourable treatment. As far as I am aware there plenty of laws on equality.
I am not saying that all this means there is no discrimination. Because that would be ludicrous. But there is no systemic racism. Only racism of individuals. And that perhaps is the area that can make most headway.
