Will be fondly remembered around Middlesbrough for leading Charlton's Champions to the old second division title in 73-74.

As outspoken off the pitch as he was commanding on the pitch. Jack was one of 'the' characters of the game who we opposing fans just loved to hate - but only for the odd 90 minutes every so often. Robust as a defender, pragmatic as a manager. Much has been written about the rift between him and his brother Bobby, but i'll bet the younger sibling is hurting right now. My condolences go to him and Jack's wife and 3 children. RIP 'Big Jack'.
