so I thought I would remind you
what do ABers think? - my own surprise is the speed at which the police conduct dept acted, why it was put on internet media without complaint
and why the body cameras were not showing they were on - so the only film is viral on the internet
oh and the editor has asked me to point out that the sunny Sun report that one explained " I was only taking the knee" is completely untrue - he said something else

slack alice: "So this quote is an outright lie in your opinion? " - you people really need to look up the dictionary definition of a lie. It may not me a current technique for the police but it's an opinion not a lie. In any case it's a very common known technique of restraint, anyone in any sort of combat art will tell you that. If it's not a current technique it should be, very effective.
gentlemen - calmiti ( er italian for calm yourself - I dont know the plural - calmatevi perhaps ) - let us discuss rationally and logically and stand out as a beacon of courtesy
I thought this was : can the police lie to suspects in an interrogation - yes deffo
and does that smear - into the police deceive the public? - no I think they hide behind a ridiculously extended sub judice 'rule'
but is it really - de we troof tellers on AB often stretch the troof in order to make a point?
not me not me but I cannot possibly otherwise comment!

// the murder scene is West Bay in Dorset, not Bridport.//
whose name used to be Bridport Harbour - the power of the railways was such that they forced the name change in the mid 1800s. The original saxon harbour line can be seen as you drive back from West Bay to Bridport as the line of houses that form the start of the town

So he's a known scumbag who is in all likelihood carrying a knife and the police have to arrest him...but the media, the police superiors and Answerbankers are not happy at how that was achieved. Calling for his sacking and pension to be stopped, on top of that his lawyer thinks charges should be dropped against the criminal because of the way he was arrested.
I repeat...who in their right mind would join the police force.
